Ever since she had discovered the other world, she had grown curious. Discovering that there were really Gods, and Godesses. That
she could produce balls of energy from her hands, and her father not trying to make it seem less real that it really was. This world was huge, and there was
still so much she didn't know.
Her finger tips traced along the spines of each book on the shelf. She had been working evening shifts for awhile now, but finally she had a day off. So the best
way to spend a day off was to buy a couple nice books, take them back home, relax in the air conditioning, and drink some iced coffee.
At least, that was her dream day. She loved relaxing when she could, especially with the double shift she had been pulling. Her usual shift was 3-11, but the last
three weeks she had spent most of her time picking up extra shifts for the call-ins. Pretty much every night, a nurse called in for their morning shift, and what could she say?

Her eyes paused on a book about Midas. She had read a little on him, and honestly found it quite amusing. Removing the book from the shelf, she skimmed a few pages, and paused on a
portrait inside, it was a colored book. So she could see the real artwork with it, and she couldn't help but stare. She liked painting, even though se never really did it anymore. It had been something her
father, and her had done while she was growing up. A good 'ol past time.
Closing the book, and began to set it back down when a sudden loud noise caused her to jump. Which resulted in her dropping the book. Fuck...
She rolled her eyes, and bent down to retrieve it...
